ICAM IAS800 Aspirated Smoke Detector
The ICAM IAS800 Air Sampling Smoke Detection System provides a flexible solution for areas where other methods of detection are difficult to implement or where access is restricted. It also provides a level of anti-tamper protection that makes it suitable for secure applications.

The ICAM IAS800 System actively draws air from the protected area through sampling pipe work. The sampled air is then filtered before being analysed by addressable point smoke detectors incorporated in the unit. The ICAM IAS800 System is available with two inlet pipes and houses up to two detectors.

The ICAM IAS800 System utilises a high performance aspirator and software configurable flow monitoring circuitry. The air flow level is displayed on a ten element bar graph that can be adjusted for high and low flow thresholds. Flow failure is reported as a device fault.

VESDA LaserPLUS Aspirating Smoke Detection
The time between the earliest prefire condition and the transition into the flaming and heat stages is critical. This is the time in which one of two things can happen; the condition worsens and actual flame occurs, or steps are taken to correct the condition and prevent the development of fire.

VESDA LaserPLUS with its very early warning, puts you in control by alerting you to a prefire condition. In essence, the prefire alert buys time - the critical element affecting fire emergencies. Time to take corrective action, time to avoid the danger, the damage and disruption of fire, time to provide a wider window of opportunity.

Air is continuously drawn into the LaserPLUS piping network by an internal aspirator. A sample of this air is transported through the filter to the detection chamber. In the detection chamber, the air sample is exposed to a highly stable laser light source. Light scattered by smoke is detected by very sensitive receivers.

The output signal is processed and presented on the bar graph display as one or more illuminated segments, depending upon smoke density.

VESDA LaserPLUS communicates this information back to the fire alarm control panel via relay contacts or intelligent interfaces.

VESDA LaserCOMPACT Aspirating Smoke Detection
The LaserCOMPACT detector has been specifically designed to provide all the benefits of aspirating smoke detection, including very early warning, in single environment small areas and where space is a premium.

This has been achieved through the combination of approved LaserPLUS detection technology, dual stage filtration technology and a modified aspirator design incorporated in a smaller enclosure with simplified display.

Air is continuously drawn into the LaserCOMPACT piping network by an internal aspirator. A sample of this air is transported through the filter to the detection chamber. In the detection chamber, the air sample is exposed to a highly stable laser light source. Light scattered by smoke is detected by very sensitive receivers.

VESDA LaserCOMPACT communicates this information back to the fire alarm control panel via relay contacts or intelligent interfaces.

VESDA LaserFOCUS Aspirating Smoke Detection
Incorporating detection methodology derived from its VESDA predecessors - the LaserPLUS, LaserSCANNER and LaserCOMPACT - the VESDA LaserFOCUS multiple point air sampling technology works by utilising a highly efficient aspirator that continually draws air into its laser detection chamber via a pipe network.

Accurate assessment of the air sample using calibrated detection and long detector life expectancy, are assured with a patented dual stage filtration process that both eliminates background 'noise' and preserves the optical integrity of the laser technology with its clean air bleed.

The result of this is an unchallenged detection process able to provide reliable and consistent very early warning smoke detection performance across a diverse range of applications.
